At SoSweet.com, we take pride in delivering authentic Swedish candy and quality merchandise to our customers across the United States. Due to the nature of our products, especially perishable food items, our return and refund policies vary by product type. Please review the details below carefully before placing your order.


Edible (Food) Items

All edible products are final sale.

Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, we do not accept cancellations, returns, or refunds on food items once an order has been placed and processed.

However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Emilernstsson@yahoo.com and include:

  1. Your order number
  2. Clear photos of the issue

After review, we may offer a replacement or store credit, at our discretion. Refunds for edible items are issued only in cases of confirmed error or damage during transit.


Non-Food Merchandise

Non-food merchandise (such as branded apparel or accessories) may be eligible for a return or exchange with prior authorization.

To request authorization, please email Emilernstsson@yahoo.com with:

  1. Your order number
  2. The reason for the return

Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided at checkout, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the order.

Please verify your shipping information carefully before completing your purchase.


Refund Processing (If Applicable)

For eligible non-food merchandise returns:

  1. Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding approval or rejection.
  2. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  3. All refunds are issued in USD.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card provider (processing times may vary).
  3. Contact your bank for additional details.

Sale Items

Sale or discounted items are non-refundable.
Only regularly priced, eligible non-food merchandise may qualify for a return or exchange.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

To request an exchange, please email Emilernstsson@yahoo.com with your order number and photos of the issue. Exchanges are limited to the same item, subject to availability.


Shipping Costs

  1. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  2. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.
  3. If a refund is approved, return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount.

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
